Critical Requirements of Automotive Fuel Enhancement Systems
All automotive fuel enhancement systems must make substantial modifications to the ECU or carburreter of their vehicle.
The foundation of fuel enhancement is operating the engine at lean or ultra lean air/fuel ratios thus significantly increasing
the oxygen concentration of the exhaust gas.
Without replacing the ECU of a fuel injected vehicle air/fuel ratios can be slightly adjusted by modifying
the voltage signal of a stock narrowband oxygen sensor. The true potential of the fuel enhancement concept can only be achieved with the implementation of a replacement ECU.
With a fully customizable ECU air/fuel ratios can be varied without limitation, allowing for the implementation of lean and ultra lean
settings depending on driving conditions and performance requirements.
